I have a delicious treat for you today! A delicious, spicy, salty, sweet, crunchy, healthy treat. A treat that’s super easy to make. You can keep them on your countertop in the prettiest of bowls so they’re ready to grab a few when you’re having a craving or just need a little something. Here’s how to make delicious honey sriracha cashews.
.
I attended a chocolate fair back in January. That’s pretty funny for someone trying not to eat sugar.
Oh yes, I was surrounded by sweets and treats and it was so tempting to buy one of everything. But surprisingly there were also vendors there that sold baked goods, drinks, cheese, and salty snacks.
My favorite, however, were these honey sriracha cashews made by Tierra Fam in New York.
I never knew I liked sriracha flavor until I tried these nuts. They are salty and sweet, but mostly spicy and I LOVE THEM.
They also keep me away from snacking on potato chips!
If these honey sriracha cashews were sold locally, I would be buying them up like crazy. Unfortunately I don’t think they are, so I experimented and made my own from scratch. I hope you enjoy them as much as I do.
Ingredients:
- 9 oz. bag of Whole Raw Cashews
- 1 tsp Pure Honey

- 1/4 tsp Cayenne Powder
- 1/4 tsp Chili Powder
- 1/4 tsp Garlic Powder
- 1 tsp water
Directions:
In a glass bowl, mix together the honey, cajun season, cayenne, chili powder, garlic powder, and water.
Once the spice mixture is blended, add the cashews to the mix and stir under the cashews are well-coated.
Place the spice-covered cashews on a baking sheet covered in parchment paper.
Bake on 225 degrees F for 30 minutes. Enjoy them warm.
Then once cool place them in your favorite decorative bowl so you an snack on them.

This spice is also delicious on Brazil nuts – which are a great source of selenium.
If you make them, please let me know what you think in the comments.
Enjoy!
