When you have a family member who’s an interior designer that likes to change out her entryway decor often, eveyone benefits – the seller of her new entryway furniture… the interior designer who gets a fresh new look… me, the refinisher who brings the pre-owned piece back to life, and the new buyer who gets an amazing piece of like-new furniture at a much lower-than-retail price. So check out today’s furniture makeover which is a Bombay chest of drawers.
From family and friends is just one of the ways I obtain furniture to refinish and sell. You can check out the many more ways HERE.
Here’s the chest when she first brought it over. Looks pretty good doesn’t it? If you look really closely though, there were a few minor surface scratches. An easy fix with a quick wash of English Chestnut stain and a fresh coat of satin polyurethane.
One of the drawers also seemed loose at first, but as it turned out a screw was just loose from one of the wood drawer glides. Also an easy fix with a new screw.
This Bombay chest of drawers is now like new and ready for its new home. It makes a great entryway table in a small entry.
Or, make your guests feel even more welcome by placing this extra special piece in a guest bathroom.
Or, it’s the perfect size for a large nightstand.
The options are endless.
Just enough storage for those small items from mittens to hand towels.
If you’re not local to Massachusetts, but love the look of this Bombay chest, Amazon does have a huge selection which you can check out HERE.
This Bombay chest of drawers is now for sale in Entri Ways’ online Shop.
