Favorite White Bookcases for Bathrooms on Amazon

One of the best accessories we added to our master bathroom was a white bookcase. The tall shelving unit fills a large empty wall, provides a place to display colorful navy blue towels, hides the extra soaps and shampoos, and I love the contrast of the bright white against the dark navy blue wall. So today, I wanted to share a few of my favorite white bookcases for bathrooms on Amazon.

The white bookcase in our master bathroom was a curbside find. A neighbor and friend down the street put it out on the sidewalk and I was glad to snatch it up.

I wish I had a better picture of the what the bookcase looked like when I brought it home. You can see it here (below) laying on it’s side in our garage in all it’s 1970’s brown-stained glory.

Two coats of primer and 4 coats of white enamel paint later and the bookcase was transformed into stunning white.

I’ve been wanting to add a white bookcase to our master bathroom for over a year. Shopping for them online, I found open shelving and full-glass and upper-glass bookcases and cabinets. And I loved them all!

But my decision was made when I found this one on the curb.

If you’ve been following me for a while, you know that I can transform almost any piece of formerly-loved furniture into something new.

This brown to white bookcase was no exception.

Open Shelving with Doors

What I love most about this first style is that you can hide the ugly necessities like bathroom cleaners and the plunger.

Tip: Place the plunger in a large round plastic tub (we re-purposed a half-gallon ice cream container. It’s the perfect size to hold the plunger then we tuck it away behind doors.

On the shelves, add folded towels, glass jars with cotton round and Q-tips, or baskets to contain other smaller items.
