A huge Thank You to my amazing friends who think of me when they have furniture they want to move out of their homes. Sometimes I’m amazed at the furniture pieces they pass along, but I also understand the need for a refresh in your home. I’m actually going through a refresh phase myself right now too and have plans to paint almost every wall in my house! More on that later. Today, I want to show you the new pre-owned table I now have in stock and my plan to refinish it.
Here’s the table from my friend and new to my stock….
Does it look familiar? It’s very similar one she passed on to me a few years ago and is now in my kitchen…
Tables have become my favorite furniture pieces to refinish, especially these round wood tables that can be refinished to look like an old-world table that has aged naturally over 100 years. That old world, naturally -aged finish is exactly how I plan to refinish this table.
Over the past 6-7 years, I’ve tried different techniques to achieve this look – layers of paints, layers of stains, and sanding. They all result in beautiful, unique finishes, but the one that requires the fewest products and has the potential to sustain daily wear and tear for the next 50+ years is the furniture refinished with Entri Ways’ sanding technique.
I’ve put all of the details on how to perform this sanding technique to achieve a naturally-aged finish into a 19-page ebook. You’ll also see the few supplies you’ll need, the best type of furniture to start with, the best topcoat that will not discolor it, and the best hardware to coordinate.
