I was just reading a note over on Jeanne Oliver’s blog that said:
“I was told that I needed to find that one thing, but I don’t like listening to directions,
so I embrace many loves and that has given me a sweet mash up of family, art, decorating, and fashion.”

This is exactly how I feel!
Jeanne embraces the fact that she works on many different things and I love that.
It’s not that we’re unfocussed. It’s that we’ve chosen a “sweet mash up”.
I may be totally engrossed in painting furniture then move on to writing, then to sewing, and then to marketing. It’s time to get out of the mold that says you have to have a career and do just one thing. Like Jeanne Oliver, it’s time I come to the realization that I enjoy a sweet mash up, accept it, and embrace it.
This week I’ve been in my creative painting mode and am sharing this adorable full size bed.
The headboard and footboard have some simple, elegant features.
The bed came with a basic metal frame – you know those inexpensive brown metal frames you have to hide with a dust ruffle. Well, I’m not a fan of dust ruffles so I turned the ugly brown metal into glamorous gold that you don’t have to hide!
This full size bed is for sale in my Shop.
