I’ve been very lucky this season to come across so many large, functional, clean dressers, buffets, and media consoles. It makes me even happier when I come across a matching pair – even when each piece turns up 2 months apart!
Remember this antique dresser I refinished a few weeks ago (left)? Well, this week I came across an almost identical antique dresser (right). It appears that the size of the top three drawers is just a bit different; but wouldn’t they make perfect his & hers dressers?
I still have the original stained dresser for sale. The question is should I make them a matching pair? Or, should I opt for a completely different look and use a custom paint finish? What do you think?
Here’s the dresser just after being sanded down earlier this week.
While the sander was out and I was covered from head to toe in dust, I set to work also sanding down these three dressers which I also got in this week.
This sideboard has four storage drawers and two cabinet doors. It’s also the perfect height to turn into a bathroom vanity or kitchen island.
This long, 9-drawer dresser has such a versatile shape. It could be used in any room for storage or as a media console.
If you’re interested in any of these furniture pieces, feel free to contact me about a custom paint or stain finish.
