This bed truly was an ugly duckly turned beautiful swan. So much so, that I don’t even want to show you the “before” when this bed was 1970’s brown stain. If I do, you may have that image stuck in your head forever – like an addictive song. So instead, here’s the pretty white…
Whoever made this bed was very smart. There are two sets of slots for the rails to slide into so the bed can fit either a queen or a full mattress.
I love that the posts on this frame are substantial.
Now that you have the pretty image in your head, maybe this ugly ‘before’ photo won’t stick so much. After sanding it down, it still took two coats of BIN primer and two coats of Advance white to cover up the lingering brown. (affiliate links)
