It seems as though friends and relatives have been doing some early Spring cleaning. To my benefit, they've been passing furniture items along to me. While I absolutely love that they do, this also means that I've accumulated a collection of smaller furniture pieces that I now need to fix up and sell.
This week was spent refinishing, photographing, and posting for sale all of those smaller items so I can make room for larger dressers and sideboards.
Here are a few of the smaller furniture ...

Modern Sidelight Panel in Red & Orange Flower
Hello friends! Today I'd like to share with you the latest addition to my line of modern sidelight curtains. The Red & Orange Flower full-length panel…
I've mentioned before that EntriWays actually began more than eight years ago -- or at least the idea began that long ago. We had been in our New England Colonial home for just a few years and I still could not seem to find the right covering for the tall, thin sidelight windows on either side of my front door.
My search for the right ...

Celery Salad With Chicken, Walnuts & Cranberries
Being a Mom often means we barely have time to take care of ourselves. We're so busy taking care of others that we sometimes forget to make ourselves a nutritious lunch. So today, I'm sharing a very simple, delicious salad that you can prepare in just five minutes.
I typically keep tons of fresh vegetables in the house, but this salad in particular, utilizes ingredients that last a bit longer in the refrigerator or you can have stashed away in your pantry for when you need ...

Traditional Turned-Leg Coffee Table

She was so sweet, she actually dug through cardboard boxes for me to find the two legs that had fallen off.
The turned ...

5 Things to Consider When Setting Up a Business Blog
Building an extensive website is much more involved than many companies would leave you to believe. While I can and have put together very simple blog sites in under two hours, if you intend on building a business site, you should plan on weeks and even months of continuous set-up and revisions in order to get it just right.
The key components of the EntriWays site are now in place, yet this week as I started adding sponsors to the site and it got me thinking about all of the things ...

New England Winter Wonderland
Earlier this week, Mother Nature brought us some New England snow. More is on the way so I thought I'd share a few images of how beautiful New England can be in the snow.
The first image was taken by my sister. I've featured her images here before because she has the most picturesque backyard and she always seems to capture the most beautiful photos.
This one happened to be taken after a recent snow storm. It was the calm after the storm when the sun lit up the sky in a brilliant yellow ...

Burgundy Wine Racks
This past Summer, I discovered General Finishes Glaze Effects and absolutely fell in love with the product. Glaze Effects are translucent water based colors. Applied over paint, the glaze creates a unique color wash or wood grain finish.
I first tried General Finishes Pitch Black glaze over Coastal Blue - a rich, deep blue - which you can see HERE. The glaze gives a matte paint finish depth and when applied and wiped off with a clean, dry cloth in a horizontal sweep, creates what looks ...
