I promised my husband I wouldn’t… but I did. I tried really hard not to… but I did. I’ve now taken over two bays of our garage painting furniture. What started as a small painting project or two in my cellar to keep me busy and relax me, has expanded from one bay in the garage… to the second bay of the garage… and is now overflowing out into our driveway.
I vowed last week that I wouldn’t bring home another piece of furniture until I was able to finish up several projects and sell them; but the dressers I’ve been finding are just… AWESOME!
French dressers.
Antique dressers on casters.
Long dressers that can be used a buffets.
OH MY!
I promised my husband I wouldn’t…. but I did. I’ve officially become addicted to picking up old pieces of furniture and refinishing them. Driving by a perfectly good dresser, dining table, or outdoor furniture set just isn’t something I can do anymore.
Yup… it’s official…
I’m addicted to rehab!
Looking around my garage this morning I realized I was actually working on seven different pieces at the same time.
Holy cow!
Yup… I’m addicted.
I’ll be revealing the refinished pieces over the next few weeks. Today, here’s an adorable girl’s vanity and stool.
When I came across this vanity I knew it had served its purpose well. It was clean aside from a little girl’s makeup, glitter, and paint. My guess is she grew up and it was time to pass it on. Lucky me!
A little sanding, priming, and painting and this vanity is bright white and like new again.
It’s now ready to be loved again by another little girl.
This vanity is for sale is my Shop.
Remember to follow this blog by email or via Facebook to see the reveals of all of the dressers.
Thank you & Enjoy!
