Sweet comes in all shapes and sizes. Today I’m sharing one of my favorite recipes…. really yummy gluten-free sweet potato fries. They’re baked, not fried, so they’re healthy, filled with vitamins, and with just two mild seasonings that bring out the sweet and savory flavor, so delicious.

This is one of my favorite recipes. They taste indulgent but they’re healthy and so simple to prepare.

Ingredients:
- 1 large sweet potato
- 1 tsp thyme
- 1 tsp garlic salt
- 1 tbsp olive oil
Directions
Wash the sweet potato and wipe with a paper towel to remove excess water. Slice the potato into long strips. Place potato, thyme, garlic salt, and olive oil in a plastic bag and shake until mixed well.
Place on baking sheet lined with parchment paper (optional). Bake 375 degrees for 30-35 minutes.

Tip: I prefer my potatoes when the edges are just turning brown and crunchy but the centers will still be soft.

Enjoy!

Those sound delicious! I make something very similar using butternut squash. Pinned.
They really are delicious. Sweet and savory all at the same time.
