I’m always on the lookout for unique, modern fabrics you won’t find in most fabric stores. This week I found this vibrant blue & white, semi-transparent cotton. It’s perfect for my modern sidelight window curtains.

I picked this one up at a home furnishings store – on clearance of course. It was actually a discontinued floor sample. I can only make 5 sidelight curtains from the fabric sample, but it’s still worth it. With a little luck and lots of internet searching, I hope to find more!
When set up against the sidelight window, the fabric filters the light and casts a cool blue glow into my foyer. This one is so pretty, I haven’t taken it down.
