Over the past three weeks, my workshop has completely filled up with furniture pieces to paint. People have begun Spring cleaning and the evidence is showing by the mass amounts of pieces they’re leaving out on the sidewalk and sending to the thrift stores.
I’ve been incredibly busy working on three pieces at a time – which I wouldn’t have any other way – and experimenting with different brands of paint, stains, and stain over paint techniques. Tomorrow I’m hoping to be able to get the finished pieces outside in the sunlight and take some photos to show you. In the meantime, here are a few beauties I scooped up this week.
This French server is in almost perfect condition. There are a few scratches so I don’t feel guilty about wanting to paint over the brown stain.
A few months back I had this pink set for sale – a twin bed headboard and adorable tea table. The tea table sold right away and since then I’ve been in search of a replacement to pair back up with the headboard.
This small side table has similar lines and looks adorable in pink. It’s on my list to photograph so stay tuned for the reveal this week.
I also like to pick up an occasional metal table. They make great outdoor side tables for use on a patio next to a chair or by the grill. I’m thinking bright blue with little gold feet for this one – just waiting for the wind to calm down so I can spray paint outside.
Feel free to contact me if you’re interested in having any of these pieces customized for your home.
Thank you & Enjoy!
Vicki
