Do you have a dresser, side table, bed, or cedar chest that you’ve been wanting to replace because it doesn’t quite fit with your decor anymore? Perhaps it’s sentimental, passed down through your family. Or, maybe it’s just practical to hold onto it because it’s solid wood and all the drawers are in great working order.

It’s very true when they say, “They don’t make ’em like this anymore!” Many of today’s furniture pieces are made of particle board and have stapled drawers. If you’re lucky, that particle board is covered with veneer (a very thin sheet of wood), but often not.
If you have a solid wood piece of furniture and the size and shape fit well into your home, then it’s worth refinishing!

I’ve been refinishing furniture with paint and stain for a few years now. Some of the pieces I find myself and then sell (or keep) and many I’ve refinished for clients.
This Spring, I want to help you bring that outdated furniture back to life. I’m planning to do even more custom furniture refinishing for clients because almost every time I run into a family member or friend, they say to me, “I have this dresser (or table or cedar chest), that I’ve been wanting to paint for a long time.”
Well, that time is now!
Spring is just a few weeks away and you’ll be wanting to open the windows, redecorate, and refresh your home. A freshly painted or stained furniture piece will make you feel happy every time you walk into the room. It will feel clean. It will match your current decor.
Refinishing prices vary depending on the size and scope of the project, but I’ve put together some information to give you an idea of how your project will be priced.

If you’re not sure exactly how you’d like to transform your furniture piece, I can help with that too. I’ll take a look at your home and other pieces in your home so your newly painted/stained piece will look perfect.
You can also see my Project Portfolio for a few of my past projects; but keep in mind that I love trying new colors too!

Disclaimer: A furniture piece may be valuable to you at heart and that’s why you choose to save it; but if you suspect a furniture piece to be of true rare monetary value in its current condition, I will not paint or stain it. That determination is left up to you. Also, please be advised that although I do my best to achieve a close-to-perfect final result with every piece, the age of a piece often prevents 100% perfection.

I want to make my furniture fit my theme that I have going for my living room a bit better. It makes sense that I would want to have it stained to fit the same color scheme! I’ll see if I can find a professional who can help me out with that.
